Under the Saudi Balloon Federation, the first phase of the scholarship program aimed at qualifying national cadres in the field of balloon aviation has graduated, with the program witnessing the successful graduation of Captain Hussein Makawi Ashri and Captain Afrah Ahmed.

The achievement came as part of the federation’s efforts to develop the hot air ballooning sector in the Kingdom and to qualify national competencies according to the highest global standards, which contributes to enhancing the status of hot air ballooning at both the local and international levels.

Thus, the Saudi Balloon Federation continues to work on empowering more young men and women and expanding training opportunities in the field of ballooning, in line with the Kingdom’s vision to support and develop aerial sports.
